Chiuri Honey

Chiuri flower honey is a prized Himalayan honey made from the sweet, white blossoms of the chiuri, or Nepali butter tree, which grows in sub-Himalayan regions up to about 1,500 meters. The honey has a pleasant aroma, fine texture, and naturally crystallizes even in warm weather. Harvested in winter, known for boosting immunity and easing coughs, and inflammation.
In Chepang culture, the chiuri tree is considered sacred, and cutting it down is forbidden.
