Mustard Honey

Mustard flower honey is a widely available in Nepal, produced by bees foraging on mustard blossoms grown from the Terai to the mid-hills. This mono-floral honey is light yellow to golden, sweet, mildly aromatic, and high in glucose, which causes rapid crystallization. Mustard blooms from November to January, and the honey harvested during this season is valued for its antioxidants and natural immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
